As part of the wave of global collaboration, Sanjian Meichen Construction Technology Co., Ltd. is proud to contribute to the development of the North Kalimantan Aluminum Plant in Indonesia, a project jointly developed by Ningbo Lygend Resources Technology and its Indonesian partner.
In this project, Sanjian Meichen successfully won the contract for the steel structure supply of the Electrolytic Workshop (C-D span)—a critical section at the heart of the aluminum plant. This cooperation is not only an example of cross-border partnership, but also a shared commitment to green, efficient, and sustainable development.

The electrolytic workshop is the “core engine” of the plant, and its structural integrity directly affects production efficiency and environmental performance.
Located in North Kalimantan’s tropical rainforest climate, the project faces high temperature, humidity, and heavy rainfall. To ensure long-term durability, we applied a multi-layer protective coating system:
Primer: Two layers of epoxy zinc-rich coating (zinc content >60%)
Intermediate coat: Epoxy iron oxide
Top coat: Weather-resistant acrylic polyurethane
The coating thickness reaches 60 μm, 80 μm, and 100 μm+ respectively, providing excellent anti-corrosion performance and extending the service life of the steel structure.
